Media & Entertainment Board
I have the distinct privilege to serve on the Media & Entertainment Board for the Technology Association of Georgia where we work to make Atlanta a destination for media technology corporations to set up their headquarters or satellite offices. In addition, we work to foster the arts and media within the Atlanta metropolitan area.
ASSOCIATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
PROFESSIONALS
I have had the distinct privilege to present and associate with CompTIA’s Association of Information Technology Professionals for many years. I’ve presented at their conference and am very proud to call their leaders my friends. Hats off to Steve and Georgette who both do a tremendous stewards and leaders of CompTIA’s Atlanta Chapter. If you live in Atlanta, work in technology, and are looking for like-minded professionals, look no further.
TAG Infrastructure Society
In recent years I’ve started to get more involved with the TAG information society. It’s a great group of people who focus on the big ticket items that are needed to support a vibrant technology landscape in Georgia: roads, power, water, real-estate, fiber infrastructure, along with the services enabled by these resources. These items are essential to make Georgia the logical choice for the next high-tech industry destinations.
International Association for Energy Economics
I have had the great privilege to be involved with the IAEE and USAEE for many years. I have served as a treasurer for the local chapter and have attended and spoken at several of their global conferences. IAEE is probably one of the most academic and professional associations that I have had the privilege of being a part of. It’s an honor that they sometimes allow me to raise my voice above a whisper.
TAG – Energy Society
I sat on the Board of the Media Group for the Technology Association of Georgia from 2013 to 2016 where we worked on various programs to foster technology and energy in Georgia.
