Istanbul, Athens, and Ephesus

This was a trip through a multitude of countries that led us to the Athens Olympics in 2004. We had a great time and it was so historic to see the Olympics in the country where they first started. I do have to say that Ephesus and visiting the tomb of John were the highlights of the trip. Tirana, Albania and visiting the former Yugoslavia was somewhat cool too  – we did have to take some alternate roads because there was some fighting on the primary roads. Yeah, who’s idea was that anyway? (Note: I’ve been to Istanbul and Greece multiple times so some of those pictures might be from different trips).
